John Bruce's Story

I married Edna Blake in 1969, just two weeks before being drafted into the army, I remained in the service for six years. Our son John was born on 09/12/70. We bought a home in the Cox's Landing area and lived there for the next 27 years until my wifes death from cancer on 12/26/02. During this period of time I worked for BASF Corp. and also had a book published, "The Littlest Gunfighter," in 1987. Our son also graduated from Marshall with a Bachalors and a Masters Degree and was married and had a son of his own, John III "Trey". ank of Major until his untimely death at the age of 39. I remarried in 2004 to Connie Sliger and lived in Huntingon at 1912 Wiltshire Blvd. until I lost her to cancer on 10/03/05. I remarried in 2007 to Diana Pygman and we moved back to the Cox's Landing area and have been here for the past for years. I retired from Flint Group in 2010 and have finally finished the second book in the series that I started back in 1987, this one is called, "The Legend of Deadwood, The Adventures of a Young Gunfighter." It should be out within the next two to three months in hardback, paperback and ebook.
